My Areas Of Focus
Discover compassionate support for trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
Healing looks different for everyone. I provide compassionate therapy in Calgary for trauma, anxiety, and the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, helping you reconnect with yourself and create lasting change.
My work is grounded in the belief that healing begins with understanding and compassion. Using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, I help you gently explore your inner world, reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and move toward lasting growth and emotional balance. Below are some of the areas I commonly support clients with.
Trauma can leave lasting imprints on the mind, body, and spirit. In my Calgary-based trauma therapy, I take a bottom-up approach that focuses on how trauma affects your nervous system and sense of safety. Through gentle, body-based, and IFS-informed techniques, we’ll work together to calm the body, reconnect with the present moment, and restore a sense of trust within yourself.
You may appear calm and capable on the outside while feeling pressure or exhaustion on the inside. In my Calgary-based therapy for perfectionism and people-pleasing, we’ll explore the parts of you that strive to keep everything together. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll understand their protective roles and begin to make room for authenticity, ease, and self-acceptance.
Anxiety can feel consuming, but it’s often a signal that something in your inner or outer world needs care and attention. In my Calgary-based anxiety therapy, I’ll help you explore anxiety not as something to fight or avoid, but as a powerful messenger from within. Through curiosity and compassion, we’ll listen for what your anxiety is trying to tell you—creating space for calm, understanding, and a deeper connection with yourself.
Major life changes—career shifts, parenting stages, or aging—can bring uncertainty, sadness, or a sense of being lost. In my Calgary-based therapy for life transitions and personal growth, we’ll slow down and listen to what these seasons are asking of you. Together, we’ll explore ways to move through change with clarity, compassion, and renewed self-trust.
Many people carry harsh inner voices that push, criticize, or question their worth. In my Calgary-based therapy for self-esteem and the inner critic, we’ll meet these parts with curiosity and compassion. Together, we’ll create space for a kinder inner dialogue and help you reconnect with confidence, self-trust, and a deeper sense of belonging within yourself.
Do you notice the same themes showing up in your relationships—feeling unseen, walking on eggshells, or carrying more than your share? In my Calgary therapy for relationship patterns, we’ll explore these dynamics with curiosity and compassion. Together, we’ll uncover how old roles or protective parts shape your connections, so you can build relationships that feel safe, mutual, and authentic.
Discover a path to healing that feels authentic to you. Whether in the therapy room or during a quiet Walk & Talk session, I offer approaches that meet you where you are—supporting meaningful growth, connection, and lasting change.
It’s important to me that we start building our therapeutic relationship in our first meeting. We will explore any previous experience with Counselling—what worked for you and what you’d like to change. I will guide you in helping me learn more about you and the people who support and love you. Together, we’ll discuss your hopes for your Counselling journey and how I might support you.
The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. Therapy is an ongoing process, and I will work with you to determine the appropriate length of treatment.
Therapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking to improve their mental health, manage emotional difficulties, or work through personal challenges. If you are uncertain, I offer free consultations to help determine if my services are a good fit for you.
My rate is $235 for a 60-minute session. I understand that financial situations can vary, so I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots to make therapy more accessible. While this option is based on financial need, please note that it is not guaranteed for everyone and depends on my current availability for sliding scale clients. If you’re interested, we can discuss this further during our consultation to explore what might be possible.
At this time, I do not offer direct billing, but I will provide a formal receipt for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
You’re welcome to pay for sessions by e-transfer or credit card. If you choose to pay by credit card, a 3% processing fee will be added to each transaction.
Payment is due at the time of your session, and a receipt will be provided for insurance reimbursement if needed.
Life happens, and sometimes plans need to change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours before your appointment will be charged half the session fee.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.
This policy allows me to offer that time to another client who may be waiting for an appointment.
Helping you build deeper connections, heal from trauma, and foster personal growth in a safe, welcoming space.
