Hi, I’m Anya Stang, Registered Psychologist, IFS Therapist — and the heart behind Connect Heal Grow Psychology. I started this practice with a strong belief in the healing power of relationships and connection. My approach is collaborative, and I trust in your inner wisdom to guide our work together. I’m simply here to walk alongside you as you uncover your path to healing and growth.
With a focus on trauma therapy, I bring a compassionate and insightful perspective to help you find deeper understanding and relief. I’m particularly drawn to Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, which allows us to explore the different parts of yourself that may feel unheard, stuck, or in pain. Together, we’ll work towards building greater awareness and deeper connection with these parts, allowing them to feel seen and heard. Every aspect of you is welcome at Connect Heal Grow Psychology.
Whether you’re experiencing challenges with trauma, anxiety, dissociation, depression, or emotional regulation, my goal is to make this a safe and empowering experience, with your well-being as the priority.

I offer Individual Therapy for adults, as well as Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy for those seeking a deeper, more integrative approach. You can also choose Walk & Talk Therapy—bringing your session outdoors for reflection and calm. New clients are welcome to begin with a complimentary 15-minute connection call to ensure the right fit.

Walk & Talk Therapy offers a calm, reflective space to move, breathe, and process what’s on your mind while gentle movement supports clarity and ease.

Healing takes time and tenderness. Together, we’ll explore what your experiences are asking of you and begin to restore a sense of safety and trust within yourself.
Beneath perfectionism and people-pleasing are parts longing to feel safe and valued. Together, we’ll listen to their stories and help you find freedom in authenticity and self-trust.
Anxiety and overwhelm can leave you feeling tense, restless, or on edge. Together, we’ll slow things down, listen to what your body and mind are trying to say, and begin to create space for calm and clarity.
Times of change can bring uncertainty or low mood. In my Calgary-based counselling for life transitions, we’ll slow down and make sense of these shifts together. By exploring what this season is asking of you, we’ll help you move forward with clarity and more trust in yourself.
It’s easy to lose confidence when an inner voice constantly questions or criticizes you. Together, we’ll meet these parts with curiosity and compassion, helping you build a kinder relationship with yourself and reconnect with your sense of worth.
Our early experiences often shape how we show up in relationships — how we seek closeness, protect ourselves, or pull away. When old patterns keep repeating, therapy offers space to understand what’s happening beneath them. Together, we explore these patterns with compassion, supporting healthier, more authentic ways of connecting.
My practice welcomes a range of client concerns, and the areas below reflect where my work is most deeply rooted.
